Job Description:

As a Property Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residential community remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

Cleaning all common areas and the leasing office to maintain a pristine appearance.
Preparing vacant units for new occupancy, which involves cleaning appliances, cabinets, cupboards, heating registers, light fixtures, blinds, closets, and more.
Regularly picking up trash on the property to maintain a clean and safe exterior environment.
Performing snow and ice removal, including snowblowing, shoveling, applying salt, and removing ice build-up on sidewalks, walkways, parking lots, roofs, and common spaces.
Keeping parking areas clean and well maintained.
Promptly notifying the supervisor of any resident or safety issues.
Interacting positively with residents to maintain good communication and resident relations.
Accurately completing paperwork, including service requests and timesheets.
Communicating with management on changes, maintenance needs, and tenant issues.
Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

Physical stamina to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb stairs, and perform tasks such as lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy items, occasionally exceeding 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
Willingness to work in conditions where contact with former residents' apartments with poor sanitation conditions, insects, and rodents may occur.
