MIG Welder

Description:

Our client in Hibbing is currently seeking MIG welders to join their team. We are looking for candidates with welding experience and/or mechanically inclined individuals who are willing and able to learn welding. The successful candidate must be able to operate a forklift and lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding on various materials
Read blueprints and interpret weld symbols
Fabricate and assemble metal products
Operate a forklift to move materials as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow safety procedures and regulations

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED
6 months of welding experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience with fabrication
Mechanically inclined
Ability to operate a forklift
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Schedule:
Dayshift- 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (10 hour shifts) or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (8 hour shifts), we are currently on 10’s due to our workload
Afternoons-3:00 PM to 1:30 AM

Drug Testing Required: Yes
